How the No-Credit-Card CPAP Instalment Plans Work

A CPAP machine is a significant purchase, and not everyone wants to pay for it in one go or to use a credit card. Two of the ResMed machines we list have instalment plans that do not need a credit card. This article explains what those plans are, how they differ from renting, and which details to confirm with us before you start.

We only describe the plans we state. Anything not written here is confirmed on WhatsApp, so you see it before you pay.

The stated plans

The purchase prices for comparison are from RM6,500 for the AirSense 10 AutoSet, from RM4,900 for the AirMini and from RM4,500 for the AirStart 10. You can see all three on our comparison table.

AirSense 10 AutoSet: RM600 × 12 months

What it suits

This plan spreads the cost of the AirSense 10 AutoSet over a year. It suits people who already know they want this model, with its AutoRamp, EPR, Climate Control, SmartStart and wireless connectivity, but would rather not pay the full price at once.

How it compares with renting this model

The AirSense 10 AutoSet can also be rented at RM450 a month. Renting suits you if you are not yet sure you will keep it. The instalment plan is a path to buying. If you start with rental and later decide to buy, part of the rental can count towards the purchase; how much is confirmed on WhatsApp.

AirMini: RM1,800 × 3 months

What it suits

The AirMini is the compact travel model, with waterless humidification. Rental is not listed for it, so the instalment plan is the way to spread its cost. Three months is a short plan, which some people prefer because it finishes quickly.

Mask setup

The AirMini works with a matching mask setup. Tell us which mask you use or plan to use, and we will confirm it together with the instalment details. See our article on AirMini humidification for why the setup matters.

AirStart 10: ask first

We do not state an instalment plan for the AirStart 10 on the site. If you are interested, ask on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is available. The AirStart 10 can be rented at RM280 a month with an upfront payment of RM800, or bought from RM4,500.

What "no credit card" means here

It means the plans above do not require you to have or use a credit card. Our ordering steps use online banking for payment. Before you commit, ask us how each monthly payment is made and on what date, so it fits your own banking routine.

Details to confirm before you start

• Which plan applies to the model you want.
• When the first payment is due, and when delivery is arranged.
• How each later payment is made.
• Whether you also need a mask, and its price. Masks are sold separately, from RM600 for the mask only.
• Any accessories you want at the same time, such as tubing or filters, which are priced on WhatsApp.

Choosing between the two plans

The two plans are tied to different machines, so the choice usually starts with the machine, not the plan. If you sleep in one bedroom and your clinic wants comfort settings such as EPR, the AirSense 10 AutoSet and its 12-month plan are the natural pair. If you travel often or split your nights between homes, the AirMini and its 3-month plan may fit better. When you are unsure, ask your clinic about the machine first, then ask us about payment.

Things an instalment plan does not change

Paying in instalments does not change the machine or how it is set up. Your pressure settings still come from your doctor or sleep clinic. Care of the machine still follows the manual. And the mask is still a separate choice, covered in our mask section.
