Replacing CPAP Tubing, Filters and Cushions
The CPAP parts that wear out, the signs to look for, and how to order replacement tubing, filters, water tubs and cushions in Malaysia.

A ResMed CPAP machine is built to be used night after night. The parts around it are different. Tubing, filters, the humidifier water tub and the mask cushion are handled every day and wear with use, so they are meant to be replaced from time to time. Keeping track of them is a normal part of owning or renting a machine.
This article goes through each part, what wear tends to look like, and how to order replacements from us. Replacement timing is set out in your machine and mask manuals, so use those as the reference. Accessory prices are quoted on WhatsApp.

The parts that get replaced
| Part | What it does | Signs it may be due |
|---|---|---|
| Tubing | Carries air from the machine to the mask | Splits, holes, stiffness, residue that will not wash out |
| Filter | Sits where room air enters the machine | Visible discolouration, or the replacement time in the manual has passed |
| Water tub | Holds water for humidification on the AirStart 10 and AirSense 10 AutoSet | Cracks, cloudy marks, a seal that no longer sits flat |
| Mask cushion | The soft part that touches your face | Loss of shape, tears, a seal that is harder to get |
Tubing
What to look for
Run the tube through your hands now and then. Small splits or holes are easy to miss in dim light. Tubing that has gone stiff, or that keeps marks inside after washing, is also worth replacing.
Ordering the right one
Tell us your machine model when you ask. Not every tube suits every machine, and the AirMini has its own setup. We will confirm the match before you pay.
Filters
Why they matter
The filter sits where the machine draws in room air. In homes near main roads, construction or with pets, filters may look dirty sooner. The manual tells you which filters are washable and which are disposable, and how often to change them.
Keeping spares
Filters are small and easy to keep a few of. Having spares at home means you can change one when it is due without waiting for an order.
Water tub
The AirStart 10 and AirSense 10 AutoSet both use a water tub. In humid weather, drying it properly between uses matters. Our article on looking after a CPAP water tub covers the daily routine and the signs that it needs replacing. The AirMini does not use a water tub; it uses HumidX, which is also a replaceable part.
Mask cushions and headgear

Cushions
The cushion is the part you notice most. Over time it can lose its shape, and a seal that used to be easy becomes harder to find. That is often the moment to replace it. Cushions are specific to the mask, so tell us whether you use the AirFit N20, F20 or P30i, and your size.
Headgear
Headgear straps stretch with use and washing. If you find yourself tightening them more than before, it may be the straps rather than the cushion.

A simple way to keep track
- Write the date on a small label when you start a new part.
- Keep the manual's replacement list somewhere you will see it.
- Set a reminder on your phone for each part.
- Order the next one a little before it is due, since delivery is arranged on WhatsApp.
If something feels different
A worn part can change how the mask feels or how much air leaks. If you notice a change, check the parts first. If comfort still feels off, raise it with your doctor or sleep clinic rather than changing settings yourself.
Renting and replacements
If you rent a machine from us, ask on WhatsApp how replacement parts are handled during the rental. We will explain what applies to your model.
How to order replacement parts
- WhatsApp us with your machine model and, for cushions, your mask and size.
- We confirm the matching parts and quote prices.
- Pay by online banking.
Delivery covers all of Malaysia and is arranged on WhatsApp. Owners in Ipoh, Seremban and Johor Bahru order the same way. Our mask section and machines section show the models these parts belong to.
